§ 10-184. Fees.

(a)

The fee covering examination for a certificate of registration or a registration card to qualified electricians of all classes, which is on file in the city secretary's office, shall be payable at the office of the city secretary. The examination fee shall accompany the application for registration.

(b)

The registration fee, which is on file in the city secretary's office, shall be paid to the city secretary before the issuance of a certificate of registration and only after the person has been approved by the building standards commission.

(c)

Annual renewal of certificate of registration shall be accomplished by issuance of a certificate signed by the city secretary issued upon payment each year extending the validity of correspondingly numbered certificates for that year, only. The holder of such certificates shall affix and display each yearly receipt upon the face of his certificate in the designated space.

(d)

Annual renewal of a registration card shall be required as herein set forth and in compliance with regulations in section 10-183.
