Registration certificates or cards lost or destroyed during the year for which they
are issued shall be reissued by the building standards commission in accordance with
the rules and regulations of this Code, provided satisfactory evidence has been presented
by the registrant of such loss or destruction, and provided the registrant pay to
the city the fee therefor, which is on file in the office of the city secretary, for
each such evidence of his registration as he is required to have for his identification.
