§ 14-12. Electrical work.

(a)

Any electrical work required or necessary to bring electrical service to a sign or to maintain electrical service to a sign must comply with the city's electrical code and the work performed by a contractor licensed by the city to do electrical work. The name of the electrical contractor shall be named in the sign application.

(b)

Wiring within a sign must be in accordance with electrical code for the city and must be performed by a licensed and registered electrician.

(c)

All electrical service to free standing signs shall be underground.

(d)

All electrical components shall be indicated on the engineered stamped submittal drawing.
