§ 17-161. Speed limit.

It shall be unlawful for any engineer or other person in charge of any electric, diesel, gasoline, motor or steam locomotive train to enter a public crossing at grade between and including Lampasas and Casa Linda Streets within the city at a greater rate of speed than thirty (30) miles per hour; except, that after the lead engine or locomotive has cleared such public crossings, the speed of the train may be increased as the train moves through the city.
