§ 18-94. Fees.

(a)

There shall be an annual nonrefundable registration fee for each backflow prevention assembly device. This fee may appear on the monthly city water/sewer bill and relates solely to the matters covered in this chapter and are separate from other fees chargeable by the city.

(b)

There shall be a testing fee for each separate backflow prevention assembly on which a test is performed by the city. This fee applies to but is not limited to all newly installed backflow devices, which the city may choose to randomly, test. If upon inspection or testing of a newly installed backflow prevention assembly it is deemed not to be working properly, it is the responsibility of the property owners and/or persons in charge of any premises to make necessary repairs. A retest fee will be assessed for each retest.

(c)

All fees applicable in connection with this ordinance preside in the City of Ennis Master Fee Schedule Ordinance.
