§ 18-214. Permit renewal.
Duration of the non-significant industrial wastewater discharge permit shall be issued for a specified time period not to exceed five (5) years from the effective date of the permit. A permitted non-significant industrial user with an expiring wastewater discharge permit shall apply for a discharge permit by submitting a complete permit application, as provided by the city, a minimum of ninety (90) days prior to the expiration of the user's existing wastewater discharge permit. The terms and conditions of a permit are automatically continued past its expiration date and remain fully enforceable pending issuance of a new permit if:
(1)
The permittee has submitted a timely and sufficient application for renewal; or
(2)
The city is unable, through no fault of the permittee, to issue a new permit before the expiration date of the previous permit; and
(3)
The permittee is not in significant noncompliance with the terms and conditions of the previous permit on its expiration date.
