§ 3-60. Unicom.

All pilots are encouraged to call the local unicom frequency to determine the active runway and to announce their position and intentions for take-off and landing. Pilots of radio equipped aircraft taking off or landing at airports that do not have a local unicom radio should report their traffic intentions on the appropriate unicom frequency.
