§ 4-4. Impoundment.

Animals within the city, and owned or harbored in violation of this ordinance or law of the State of Texas, shall be taken into custody, whether in the immediate presence of its owner, by an animal control officer or other designated official and impounded under the provisions of this chapter. Animals shall only be released to owner after animal owner has completed affidavit of ownership form.
