When the rough wiring or installation work is completed on any premises, the person
responsible therefor shall notify the electrical inspector that the job is ready for
inspection, giving proper identification of the work, address and permit number. The
electrical inspector shall then make an inspection of the electric installation within
twenty-four (24) hours from the time of notification (exclusive of Saturday, Sunday
and legal holidays). If the wiring or installation work has been installed in accordance
with the terms and provisions of this article, the city electrical inspector shall
sign a blue inspection card, noting thereon the date of approval of the work. More
than one (1) rough inspection may be made without charge when the progress of construction
requires such inspection.
